Our family had a lovely stay recently in Garmisch and our perfect, home-like accommodations were a big part of the experience. Owners David and Regina have overlooked no detail in furnishing their new holiday home, and, particularly, equipping the kitchen. The pine panelling, toasty heating, nice bathrooms (a wonderful soaking tub!) and kitchen, and tasteful decor gave the place a cosy and welcoming feeling after a day out on the slopes. This two-bedroom rental, adjacent to the owners‘ home, is just a five minute walk from one of Garmisch’s main streets; a good ski rental shop, grocery stores, ATM machine and a couple of restaurants/pubs are within a 5-10 min walk, and the ski slopes only a 5-10 min drive. Perfect place for a family with a couple of kids. Really beautiful area….and very kind owners. Highly recommend!
Travelled in a group of 2 couples. We were warmly welcomed by Gina who showed us around the house and explained how everything worked. The house was very well equipped for a wonderful stay, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to rustle up either a snack or a full Sunday roast. The 2 bedrooms were a good size and the beds very comfortable. Gina and David were both wonderful hosts and were always available to provide us with advice on local attractions. From the back garden there is the most amazing view of the Zugpitze, Germany’s highest mountain, and well worth a visit.
